More about Vista Marlago

Upon discovering Vista Marlago in its unique position, there was no doubt keeping this piece of paradise secret, would prove difficult.   It was envisioned in 2017 that Vista Marlago become a destination for local visitors who yearn for paradise across the border, and international guests who wish to experience the tropical haven of Mozambique and all it has to offer. With the alluring coastline climate, unspoilt night sky, local smiles and exquisite food, the adventurous journey to Mozambique is made well worth your while.

Back in 2017, developers, Jaco Coetzer, Steve Bannister and Hennie van der Merwe saw an opportunity to create an Eco Estate, preserving all of the natural attributes of the property while developing a low density housing estate catering for local an international homeowners looking for a piece of paradise in a unique, private and unspoilt part of the world.

In the ensuing years a lot of time and effort was spent establishing infrastructure and opening up roads making the land accessible to prospective buyers and visitors alike.      The existing buildings were rebuilt in keeping with the original theme of the estate.  The estate currently boasts 7 homes, 4 of which are in the process of being restored to their former condition.     The stands on offer today are a minimum of 2500m2 which will ensure that all homeowners will enjoy the unique flora fauna that the estate has to offer in complete privacy.

The developers are continually striving to maintain the natural beauty of the 100 Ha estate in the future and  remain true to the principles and best practices of eco tourism.  Prospective investors have the option of acquiring land and building their own dream house, purchasing one of the existing homes or one the new builds planned for 2023.    Stands with a Seaview or a Lakeview are available
